This was my first Cobra
project, starting from a bare frame
and shell. I ran a 468 big block and a Nash 5 speed. My first paint job.
This started as a clean 67
Nova. Pulled this one down
completely for paint and new everything. Ended up as a ProCharged
406, 4-speed, and 9".
I bought this as a
two-owner really clean car from my
home town. Ended up selling it to fund parts for the twin-turbo.
Another really clean car. Had
the ProCharged 406 in it
at one time with a Performance Transmissions 2004R. Sold it with a
350 crate engine with that same killer trans.
Bought as a demo; added
ported heads, cam, and nitrous
and promptly blew it up! Built a 383 version with all the good stuff,
(no nitrous!). Made 458 HP and 465 ft. lbs., ran 11.80's and got 24 mpg.
Originally purchased with
a tunnel-rammed small block. Felt very fast for a while but eventually needed
more power. Ended up with a blown injected alcohol small block.
